Pairing the Innohome EVO app with the Stove Guard

  1. Download the Innohome EVO app from the App Store or Google Play.
  2. Tap OK to grant Background Location Permission, as Bluetooth requires it for its operation.
    In addition, Bluetooth also requires precise location to be enabled. Finally, you must allow the app to connect to the device. The Innohome EVO app uses the location data only to enable Bluetooth functionality. It does not collect or store any location data under any circumstances.
  3. On the front screen, tap ADD DEVICE.
  4. When you enter the Pairing tutorial screen, set the Control Unit into Pairing Mode:

    EITHER turn the stove power OFF from the electrical panel for 5 seconds and then turn it ON, and repeat this process 3 times,

    OR use a sharp pen or similar object to press the hole on the side of the Control Unit (the Reset Button)

    until the Control Unit starts beeping repeatedly.

  5. Tap CONTINUE.
  6. On the Add new device screen, the app will start scanning for available devices nearby. Select the correct Control Unit by tapping its serial number in the list.
    The Control Unit confirms the pairing with the OK signal.
  7. Tap DONE to complete the pairing.

    You can now edit the Stove Guard settings by selecting it from the CONNECTED list.
