Cleaning the sensor lens

Because the lens is the first point of contact for light, any smudge, dust, or residue can distort the image or reduce accuracy. It is essential for maintaining performance to clean the sensor lens and not just the sensor housing.

For periodic cleaning of the sensor lens, use cotton buds or a lint-free, soft cloth dampened with water. It is recommended to use distilled water, if available.

For improved cleaning effect, add a few drops of mild detergent into the water. To finish the process, use a dry cotton bud or cloth to make sure that there is no residue.

Warning:
Do not use strong detergents or abrasive cleaning equipment, as they could damage the lens.
